Question For Narafa..

Narafa,

I am the one that asked you about the password thing yesterday. In one of your earlier responses you said to save the info in my internet cache so that I could prove what I was saying if need be. The problem I have with that is a couple of weeks ago I changed out my hard drive from a 40gb to 100gb because I wanted a bigger hard drive. I didn't really have anything of importance on the old hard drive so I just threw it out without saving anything. Because of that there is no internet cache. You said something about my ISP though. Won't they be able to tell exactly what happened. It seems like I read that they keep track of everything.
I hope you guys are right about not worrying. I have made myself sick over this.

Thanks

I may not be Narafa but I can answer your question
Yes your ISP will have all the data of all your internet activity so if need be you can call them and ask them to give you a list of your internet activity.
And once again dont worry about them investigating you they wont do so because from the way you told us it seems as though as what you did was perfectly legal

Yes your isp will support your story by all means, so Don't worry. They can give you an activity log I believe, but they won't do such a thing easily, but you can request it and they will do it if you insist.

Another thing is that what you actually did was a normal one time attempt to access the restricted website, so you were not trying to hack it and made 247 tries or so, so this is not illegal. If everyone trying to access a restricted website once was traced and investigated, you will probably find 90% of the internet users in Jail.

Just Don't worry, take my word, I work in this business and I know how websites use different marketing techniques to convince users that they can't be hacked :)
