I used to have a genuine copy of the windows 98se and a valid product ID. However, I lost my windows 98se CD some weeks ago. I was wondering that if I download a copy of the windows 98 from the web (using bit torrent) and use my original product ID key, would this be still considered as a genuine operating system? Can it be upgraded by using genuine windows XP upgrade CD? Thanks alot
