I am learning Visual Basic 6 from a book and it's going great, so i advise u to do that. If you can get a book from a library it would work.

School is where I would start and most of your libraries have info on that

I learned the basics in school but most of what I know has come from books and MSDN... Many people do not like MSDN but I have always liked it. Anytime I run into trouble during design time coding... just press F1 and the help files really do help
