Question on games

Hi,
I just have a question that I'm wondering about. All PC games have minimum requirements. So let's say a game needs 600Mhz+ processor. If you have let's say 1000Mhz processor, and the game lags alot when you go online, does that mean the processor isn't high enough for it even if the internet is really fast?
 
Well, a slow computer and a slow internet connection will generally lead to slow overall performance.
 
It can depend on the CPU, bexcause Mhz isn;t everything, and how much RAM do you have compared to the min?

Does it ONLY lag online? on single play is it fine?

Is single player is fine, its prabally the server, your ISP, or your PC filled with spyware.
 
The minimum requirements listed rarely play the game adequately, in fact, most times the recommended requirements are what I'd consider to be a bare acceptable minimum.
 
I think a combo of a good cpu (3.4-8GHz) and ram (4GB) would really help. There are other thinks too though. I mean the video card should be high quality for good game play
