Question on some compatability.

Hello.

I am helping my brother who is building his second rig. He is having an issue with the hard drive. The hard drive he purchased was a Seagate Cheetah 15K6. The hard drive was a refurb from Newegg, but it didn't come with any cables. What type of cable would he need to connect to his motherboard. His motherboard is a EVGA 151-Se-E777-rx lga 2011 intelx79 sata6/gb/s usb3.0 extended atx.
 
That drive uses the SAS interface and the motherboard only has a SATA interface. You might be able to find an adapter to make it work but I honestly don't know. I'd never heard of SAS until I googled that drive.
 
SAS drives are used in servers. It's not gonna work in his computer. Return it and purchase a SATA drive.
