Question/Problem needs solved

Hello, I'm new here so I hope this is where I put this and can get some help -crosses fingers-
I used to attend a CyberSchool, they gave me a computer to use but when I was done with school it was kind of old (the kind of old as in only has like 19GB on it) so I was able to keep it, but anyways it's been just sitting there not really working right for quite a few years now, and I decided I wanted to download some games but didn't want them on my laptop, just to put on the desktop for casual play once in a while. so I got it working, and it can connect to the internet, but there's one problem, the CyberSchools block is still on it so if I type "youtube.com" it pops up a little computer thing saying I can't go there and displays the page as it doesn't exist. My question is, is there somewhere in my computer that this blocking thing is actually at so that I can uninstall it or can I just wipe the computer clean? I had to wipe my laptop once before but I have the discs for it, I have no discs that I can find for the desktop. If I can't fix this I guess I should just pack it away and forget about it again lol.

If its that old of a system it really isn't worth spending money or time on to get it working again. You would have to do a fresh install of windows and if you don't have the install cd's then you would have to buy them.

Hm, thanks, I was hoping it would be easier...but what ever is? lol but it works I just wanted the block off since I'm not even in school anymore, but perhaps I can find the discs or find a friend who has some, or even cheap ones, I'm poor X] I pretty much had to wait 4 years just to get this laptop and it's not even an alienware (though I'm very grateful I even have a laptop) but buying a new computer/desktop, or buying discs for an old one, when right now all I want to do is download a few games, I think the discs may be cheaper, then again I never had to buy or even think about buying some so I wouldn't really know.

If you had not noticed, we spend more on a GPU than many people earn in a lifetime. Being poor is not a well-understood concept (my second soap-box speech this week).

I don't know if unblocking advice is permitted in the forum but I'm sure your neighbourhood kids know how!

Oh God, with that last remark I really feel old now, I'm still only 19 I still consider myself "a neighborhood kid" or hoodlum...XD and no, they wouldn't know, besides my friends dad who is unavailable at this time, and myself we probably make up the "geeks" in town, that's why I turned to the internet but in any case Thanks for everyone's help, I'll probably just use it for Disc games or any online game it'll let me download, a quick question, IS an alienware the best computer to get if you want to download alot of games and stuff, by stuff I mean maybe flash or something but it would be a desktop and I would want to play a ton of games, by this I mean things such as DDO (Dungeons and Dragons Online), Perfect World, Forsaken World, Grand Fantasia, Megaten (Shin Megami Tensai Imagine Online), and much more, my laptop, currently only has 108GB (I think, don't wanna check right now lol) and that's not all used on games, I have a habit of saving pictures a lot 2.
