question with nero

I'm not that good with software quite yet and was wondering if you can burn a dvd to your computer with nero to save on your hard drive I want to burn a movie I bought because the disk is damaged but it will still read it are there any other programs that can do that if nero cant?

i use "dvd shrink"

do a google on it and you can find out more. its easy to use. my friend who can barely read uses it.
