So I bought everything for my first build (check sig) and I was reading the book for my Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe mobo and it has a list of qualified vendors for DDR2-800 with 8 different listings (2 Kingston, 1 Infineon, 1 Hynix, 3 Micron, 1 AData). This was the memory I bought... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820146565
is this going to be an issue or can I still use this memory and its just not on the list.

Thanks

Most likely it will work. The RAM listed are the ones that are GUARANTEED to work, but the actual list of RAM that would work would be much, much longer. The ones listed are just the ones that were tested with the motherboard... it's impossible to test out every brand and model of RAM.

Crucial is the consumer division of Micron so it might be on the QVL just under a different name but as PohTayToez said, you don't have to use memory from the QVL, it's just what they tested with the board, most if not all other RAM will work as well.
