questiong about cleaning dust off lcd's?

how would you go about to do this cuz i tried with paper towel one day and it kinda scratched it a bit?

There's another thread somewhere recently on the same thing, but I can't find it. The opinion is (myself included) a soft damp cloth rubbed gently but not too wet or it will look streaky. I've done it this way for months with no ill effect, then again you can pay your money and buy screen cleaner.

A damp rag. Most of the time I just wet a paper towel, never notice it causing any damage.

I've used achohol before, not knowing it could damage the screen. Never did a lick o' harm either.

If it's just dust, then a microfiber cloth works great, but if it's dirt, smudges, stains, etc, then I use vinegar and a cloth.

To clean my LCD, I use a products called 'Perfect Glass' and a paper towel, it works excellent.

Does that have ammonia in it? Ammonia on LCD's is VERY bad, and paper towels scratch the plastic.

i just buy those Anti-static screen wipes which you can get mainly anywhere in computer shops.

gets rid of smudges and fingermarks easy.
