Questions about 2 Toshiba Laptops (Which is Better)

I was looking for a good 14" Laptop for my masters I start in a couple weeks and so far I have found two and was wondering opinions from people who know more about computers than myself. Especially the differnce in processors, and graphics cards.

If you could give me some advice that would be great along with any other exceptional option under $900

I think the first link will give you longer battery life. The Intel is a better processor imo
and you have a 400GB hard drive compared to a 320GB hard drive.
But really, in all honesty, I think the cheaper one will suffice.

The first one has a better Hard drive but the second one has a better CPU and both have the same RAM graphics card is not listed but my guess is the higher priced one will have a better graphics card. The second will work just fine and will make a nice work and school laptop. No need to spend extra money on stuff you don't need.
