Questions about Atari Battlezone

You guys remember the old arcade Battlezone game by Atari, right? The one that came out in the early 80's that had the green objects on a black background? I have some questions for you about this game. I found a web site you can go to actually play this game and it's found here:

My first question is, would it be possible to use a joy stick to play this game? I just can't get the feel of it like I used to be able to play it using the stupid arrow keys on my keyboard. I don't currently own a joy stick or I'd plug it in and try it out for myself.

My second question is, if it's not possible to use a joy stick with this application, is this game available that looks and plays exactly like the original game, to purchase and load onto the computer that you could use a joy stick to play? If so, what's it called (if it's called something other than Battlezone), who makes it, and where could I find it? Thanks.

If you have an iPhone/iPod Touch, there's a game called Vector Tanks which is pretty much similar to Battlezone.
 
So none of you know whether or not you can use a joy stick with the online game I posted a link for? Do any of you have a joy stick that you could try with the game just to see if it works and you could let know? If it does, I'll buy one. Thanks.
 
Could someone please try to use your joy stick with the online game link I provided in my original post. It would probably take all of about 30 seconds to find out if it works or not. Thanks.
