Questions about my new motherboard- Asrock extreme4 gen3

Hi Guys,

I,ve just recieved my new Asrock extreme4 gen3. I,m not a computer speciallist and i want to ask you, which of those drivers and apps do i need? http://www.asrock.com/mb/download.asp?Model=P67 Extreme4 Gen3&o=All
Also do you think that updating my bios will help me?

-Asrock Extreme 4 Gen 3
-I5-2500K /3.3G/6MB/BOX/LGA1155
-CM HYPER 212 EVO
-CORSAIR 2x4GB Vengeance DDR3 1600Mhz 1.5V
-1TB SEAGATE SATA 6G/7200/64M
-GB N670OC-2GD

Just use the driver cd that came with the motherboard. It should automatically install all required drivers.
 
Yes but a friend of mine told me that the drivers on the cd are outdated and that i should download the newest. Is that true?
 
What I generally do is use the cd to install the drivers and then use windows update to update windows and then it will also tell you what updated drivers are available. If the board has been available for over a year or so then yeah its possible that there may be updated drivers available. If you don't want to use the cd then your gonna have to download the following.

Sound
INF
USB 3.0
LAN
Intel management engine

Then check to see if there are any remaining entries in device manager still needing a driver.
 
Thats not a sound idea john, ive done that before and some weird implementation of the Windows driver caused my machine to BSOD, if your going to do drivers via win update, just do all through the update, dont mix and match the third party with MS's driver. You can simply install your ethernet driver, and go from there with Windows update, that would probably be the easiest way to get up to date drivers, otherwise go to the motherboard's website.

I've always done that on client builds and haven't had a single issue ever.
