Hi, I'm looking for real world responses from people who own the HP 2710m 27 inch monitor or are familiar with this display. I plan on purchasing a monitor which has excellent colors. Will this monitor fit the bill?
Is the 27" HP Display any good? How does this monitor compare to the 24" apple cinema display in terms of colors? Are there better monitors? I own the 24" NEC 2490, how does the 27" HP Display stack up against my NEC monitor?
This monitor can display 92% color gamut. Does it show or is it just a marketing gimmick? What does the 92% color gamut mean when viewing photos, watching movies, playing games, etc?
This monitor has a resolution of 1920x1080. Most monitors 24" or larger display 1920x1200. Why is this monitor 1920x1080. what's the difference between the 2 resolutions? What are the benefits and negatives of 1920x1080 vs 1920x1200?
I heard that everything onscreen including text will be larger, is this true? is this because of the larger pixels? are there any negatives because of this?
I love glossy monitors so reflections will not be an issue for me. I would like to know how the 27 HP monitor stacks up agains the best of the best in terms of image quality.
