Questions about Valid cd key Windows vista

i had couple of questions about windows vista.

1. What are the benefits of having a legit (valid cd key) windows vista?


3. lets say i bought a prebuilt computer with a legit windows vista on it. Lets say couple years down the road i decided to make my own computer. Will i be able to use the cd key for the windows vista on the prebuilt computer to get a legit windows vista OS on my build?

3.no , not if its an OEM version, which 99% of operating systems bundled with new PCs are, it is tied to that hardware. It may actiavate, but it would still be illegal.

It actually depends about the updates and who your source is. I know someone who is tight with someone who works at Microsoft so he gave us hookups to vista enterprise and ultimate + ms office 2007 and can be used as many times as we want the only problem is that the enterprise says that my pc is made by Dell

Yeah, it's a Dell OEM BIOS hack. It's not a legitimate copy.

It's free, but I am not sure where he got that one
I know he got the vista ultimate and the MS 2007 from the MS guy. The only problem is I have the 32-bit and 64-bit hack but I only have on installer (make any sense?)
