Well i got a new laptop for college and I was just wondering if I made a good choice. I started my search on new egg and couldn't really find a better deal than I did. The laptop cost me about 520 with everything including shipping.

Stats are:
Processor - Intel i3 330M (2.13 GHZ)
RAM - 4.00 GB DDR3
Operating System - Windows 7 64 bit
15.6" Screen
500GB Hard Drive
Intel HD Graphics

And those are the basic things that it has, I was also wondering if it would be possible to overclock this computer based on anything you might know about this particular model.

Um... I don't think you would want to overclock a laptop. I think overclocking is mainly for desktops.

you might be able to do it with some kind of overclocking program (correct me if I am wrong), it's just that laptops don't handle heat very well. And if you did overclock it without frying your computer, you wouldn't see much of a difference.

Well guys screw the overclocking idea then, I do have another problem with my laptop thought. It has HDMI out so i have been trying to connect my computer to my samsung monitor/tv but when i do this the screen on my laptop goes blank and even after I unplug it, it stays black so it forces me to restart. I really want to use the monitor with this laptop, is there a fix for this?
