alright
iam looking for a laptop heres the spex id like

core 2 duo
17'' or bigger widescreen
customizeable or not


the customizable covers everything else, if you know a place that has it prebuilt with those little standards let me know please, or a place to customize for cheap

i need like under 2000 but, under 1800 or so

EDIT::: with the option of having windowsxp mce

those are all intel core duo's, which is different from the core 2 duo which he asked for. the core 2 is the merom whereas the core duo is the yonah...the core 2 duo is substantially faster/better

dell has core 2's and many other companies...just have to really decide what you want because if its just a core 2 and a 17 inch lcd its hard to give you a price without knowing what else you want in it

People in this thread, do not get mad at me.
However, i suggest you getting a Dell or an IBM
Even though Dell had recent battery problems, I think they learned their lesson.
Secondly, Dell is cheap and if you buy some extended warranty, it will acutally last quiet a long time. (the computer i mean)
