i have an Asus N660(Geforce 6600) should i be downloading Nvidia or asus drivers? I downloaded like 1 asus video card driver which hasn done much, should i dl nvidia drivers, i think it will solve my problems when i read he description but i wasnt sure if i shuld be downloading Asus or Nvidia

They're the same drivers. I've seen some manufacturers who just link to Nvidia on their driver page!

actually i have an evga 7800gt and it would only accept the evga drivers that came with the card. i tried downloading the nvidia ones and it wouldn't work for some reason. oh well i score like 29349802734098723849823 on 3dmark05 (not quite, but it was high, you get the point)... i think it was actually in the 7,000 range but i was satisfied with the performance.
try different stuff though, i dont know what to tell you if you won't try.
