Quick Launch Disapearing

whenever i turn on my computer, the quick launch on the taskbar isn't there, and i need to turn it back on.. how to i keep it from disapearing?

In the Registry go to key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon. The Key "Userinit" must be exactly: "C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe," (with the comma). Exit the registry and reboot. Right click on the Taskbar and remove the check mark from the "Lock the Taskbar", then right click the Start button go to "Properties" then the "taskbar" tab, put a check at "Show Quick Launch". Right click on the Taskbar again and relock it.
