quick question...

i am thinking of upgrading from 2gb of memory to 4gb. I currently have this memory...

So can I get a different brand of memory or would it be smart for me to stick with the same kind. If i can add different memory what would you suggest?

I suggest you get an identical stick to the one you currently have.

You can add whatever you like as long as it's the right type (DDR, DDR2), if its different speeds/timings the slower one will be used.

I would get the same ram just to be safe
