quick Question

When a cpu says Athlon64 Bit 2800+ @ 800Mhz for example, what does the 800 refer to, because I know this cpu will run at approx 2.8ghz.

The 800 is refering to the speed of the FSB, or more corectly, HTT link. That CPU runs at a clock speed of 1.8 Ghz.
