Quick question

Is there any way to save a URL video? (A video that can't get stored on your hard drive, but you can watch by hitting Open URL)? Also, how do you find out the URL from Real Player?

I realise that, and thank you for posting a reply which was not a answer to my problem, that is what I was looking for. And there was a problem with my computer, it just shut down immediately, I went on to this site, and for some reason my post didn't show up, so I assumed it shut off before my topic got posted, so I had to post it again, or so I thought. Now, if that is all with the comments about my double post, I would really like a solution to my problem, if that's okay.

Seems like that extension you posted would work, but my verwsion of windows doesn't recognize .xpi files, *The installation file for the extension* Any other way to install it?

Do you have Mozilla Firefox?
You will need that work, Firefox is just an internet browser, similair to IE7 but I find it better!

Once you have Firefox, go to this link and you can figure the rest out!

Hope that works!

I already have Mozilla Firefox, but everytime I try to open up the Extension it says windows don't recognize. Any other ideas?

If you've already installed the extension then thats it! Try it, go to a movie on the web that plays in an embeded Media PLayer and click the big icon in the middle and that opens it in your media player on the computer, thus allowing you to save the movie!

You only need to make a new profile if installing the extension didn't work...
Tell me if it works...

There the same ad-ons, I just gave you two different links, Its fine, you've installed it now, it should work! forget the other link, if it didn't work it useless and you've got the extension!

Try it out though watch a movie and see if it works?

Hm... Seems good, but doesn't work for what I wanted it to. I wanted to save a ".ram" file, (Yeah, I never heard of a .ram either)... Thanks anyway.

.RAM is the smallest file type for movies and sound, but it is no where near as good quality as .wav, .wma or .mp3.

Please note that the sound quality of RealAudio files (RAM files) is not nearly as good as the MP3 or WAV files. However, their file sizes are the smallest (about 84K) and take much less time to download. This is especially convenient if you have a dial-up Internet connection.

If you do not already have RealPlayer installed on your computer, you will first have to go to RealNetwork's Web site and download it.

You need RealPlayer to play them, you can use the extension that I showed you for Firefox and set it up to download them into RealPlayer, that extension does all media formats! Should work!
