quick question

im pretty sure they all do, i could be wrong. the card will either come with an adapter that you can plug two regular power chords from the psu into or the psu will come with the pci-e adapters already attached.

my old 9800pro AGP came with a port for a floppy connector.

thought it would be the case.

someone on another forum having issues on power up, told them to check the power supply to the PCI-E card but they said it doesnt have its own power socket....just asking what model card it is.

They're probably mistaken. Even my 7600Gs AGP has it's own power supply connector. Most PCI-E cards are more powerful than mine, so I'm quite sure it's there.

Certainly not. Most low end PCI-E cards don't require external power. PCI-E 7600GTs, for example, have no PCI-E power connector.
