Quietest 9800GTX???

Hi there, i want to buy a 9800 GTX but i was wondering which brand has the quietest video card.

Thanx in advance.
 
lol i actually laughed pretty good when i clicked the link... lol.

anyways, the stock fan aint perfect but its up to you how quiet it is. the fan needn't run at 70%, a more realistic and very quiet % would be 40.

Well, maybe i didn't form my question correctly...:o
I have a normal (air cooled) system, and i want to buy a version of the 9800gtx which would make the least amount of noise, both at idle and at full load.
I heard that xfx put fans which rotate at higher speeds than normal, so it seems that the xfx brand would make more noise (at full load) than others.
 
you heard wrong then. the stock fan on an nvidia card is the same through all the manufacturers.

i'll put it this way. can you hear your computer now? if so then you will not notice the 9800GTX, its just not necessary or helpful to turn up the fan unless your overclocking.

the only reason i dont answer to your question the way you wanted it answered though is because after looking through newegg, there is no 9800GTX that has an aftermarket heatsink on it. but thats not to say you cant just put one on.

but seriously the stock fan works great.
