Built my computer about a month ago... worked fine, great if you will. I turn my computer off last night and today I push power and nothing. I unplugged just about every cord possible and tried to turn it on, nothing. While I was towards the back of it I smelled something similar to a burnt out sparkler. (those little sticks that kids run around with 4th of July) Now this is just a hunch, but is it possible that my psu has died? I'm not the biggest comp pro, but I can give some specs that are on the psu
420w ATX
+3.3v +5v +12v -5v -12v +5Vsb
26A 32A 13A 0.5A 0.8A 2A

System specs (if it matters)
AMD +2800 2.0ghz
Windows XP sp2
MSI K7N2 Delta mobo
1gb Kingston ValueRam pc3200
ATI Radeon x800 XL
Audigy 2 SB soundcard
not sure about the correct size, but 6"x6" intake and exhaust fans and there is another fan hooked up to an expansion slot below the video card. so i dont think cooling was an issue.

My ?... buy a new PSU? or is there something that can be done  What kind of PSU is cost friendly, but reliable... im thinkin about 500w this time... plz help guys thanks.
