r9 290 vs gtx 670 sli

I no that the r9 290 is newer, and if I get a second 1 I would have more performance, but all of that aside what would give me more fps in games that make use of sli, the 290 or the msi gtx 670 power edition.
And of course would it be a big difference.
 
Yes I understand that, but how big would it by, I mean there is a lot that you can find about both cards, benchmark this, benchmark that, but always not with the same setup.
 
ive got 2 x evga gtx 670 4gb edition cards, and I run them with an i7 3770k. I play on a 1440p resolution, and these 2 cards are great. I am oart of a group on facebook, and a lot of people who have r9 290, 290x, 780, 780ti and titan, cant beat these 2 cards in sli. 3dmark, heaven, vally, all the good benchmarks I score higher than them. maybe by just 10% in some cases, but its still a higher performer than any of those cards.

oke yes I now the are quick, but I don't have the 4gb cards.

but I play on 1920x1080 now.
