Radeon 9600 Pro/9800 Pro

or you could spend a few extra dollars and get a 9800PRO that would clock far beyond that as well. all depends on your budget. if you can afford the 9800...go for it.

9600Pro + Few Dollars = 9800 Pro... since when??? Now had you said 9600Pro + Few Dollars = 5900XT that's a different story, the 9800Pro is a $220ish card, the 9600Pro is a $150ish card....
 
I wish they have cheap cards like that in Australia Radeon 9600 Pro ($250-$350) and 9800 Pro's well there just damn Expensive

my bad...i thought the 9600PRO's were around $180...
 
Yer I wish they were, theres a Graphics card in Australia that's $800 and sumfin dollars and it's a Radeon 9800 pro, or XT or something, it's in a shop.....Dunno why it's so expensive.......must have extra things on the card.

i seen a PCI 64mb card a few years back. it had nuthin special on it..cept the fact it was like an "enterprise edition" or somehing and was used in business computers for graphics production or something...$500. i was like "wtf?!?!?" guess some cards are just rare i dunno.

No its just that there are a lot of highschool kids that dont know jack and have their parents pay for everything :P Marketing companies know that :P

If the 9600Pro was $180 then you're better off with the 5900 for $170.

Sounds like a workstation card. Some of them Oxygen/Wildcat cards will be hitting $4K+
