Radeon 9600 with 1680 x 1050 DVI ?

I have one question about resolutions. I saw on the official Ati site down there that Radeon 9600 don't have on theresolution list 1680 x 1050...so that mean's that I really can't run Dell's monitor 2209WA which have native resolution at 1680 x 1050 with my graphic card? I don't want to buy this monitor and then it will not work.

The 9600 can do 1680x1050 res...my recently retired pc i used as a sort of HTPC was using just that exact setup :good:

Nice....did you have original radeon 9600 or radeon 9600 pro? Did work with DVI or VGA cable?

Yes it will work with either VGA or DVI

I used DVI.

This resolution is on the list for Radeon 9600 pro ...that's why you can get this resolution .
