Radeon HD 5850 screen tearing

Hello CF,

So I have this issue where whenever I start a video on any video website or when I change webpages, my screen tears. I am not sure why or how this happens. Whenever I try to OC my card, the tearing becomes much worse. I am wondering if theres a fix for this, because apparently this card is known for this issue.

They look like normal temperatures to me.

I saw that, I am downloading it now. Ill edit the post see if that fixes the issue.

Edit: The issue still occurs. Though now im glad my Drivers are fully updated.

Try 12.2 preview, may or may not fix it. Also try triple buffering and vsync. Also try the following procedure:

1) Download latest drivers
2) Run installer, select express uninstall
3) Reboot, run installer again, select express install

I tinkered around with the settings and I believe it fixed it! I dont see anymore screen tearing. Also I turned on Triple buffering. Thanks man I appreciate it!
