Radeon or GeForce?

horrible benchmarks. doesnt actually compare against the 7950, fyi

erm...look at the bottem 2 tests.
the 7950gt is at the bottem.

as elite says, if you don't have all the money to spend right now, you *could* go with aa 7600 card. there less then a hundred dollars now and can play most games currently on the market. too weak for neverwinter nights 2, but fine for oblivion (with xp and 1gb of ram, graphics could be on medium to high), half life 2 and other new or popular games. combine it with enough ram and it'll even perform as good as a 8800.

of course, buying one card now and then upgrading later does cost more overall.

It is OEM, that is different than open box. Open box normally means it was purchased than returned. These just do not come with anything and are OEM, not OPEN BOX.

If you can afford the 7900 series, you should really get it, its the best card in terms of price v performance at the moment.
