hey,

Does anyone know where to get ther Diamond Radeon x1300 *PCI* version in the UK, i specifaclly need the PCI version or possibly the low profile card?

The card details are here, also does anyone know how powerful your power supply needs to be - on the official website:

(http://www.diamondmm.com/X1300PCI256.php) it gives two amounts??? (look at the system requirements in the corner)

For more details look here:

Thanx for any help

and how exactly would i find that out from the PSU specs?, + i cant exactly imagine a pci graphics card taking up 483w of power, but im now expert.

Anyone got any idea about the answer to my orignal question also?

do you NEED to use that card? i just picked up a x1300 pci, and it's honestly terrible.

is this a secondary video card? if not, i'd save a bit extra and get an agp or pci-e version instead.

the refresh is painstakingly slow

no, i *need* it, the pc im upgrading only has a pci slot, and to be honest any thing is better that Intels onboard "extreme graphics 2", no really

On the side of the PSU, it should have a little chart with your specs. Less than what I mentioned would probably work, but it's always better to have too much than not enough :P

And yes, the x1300 is a horrible card, but it's much better than basically any onboard!

exactly, and considering many people on this site (maybe including you) are gaming enthusiasts with $200+ graphics cards, to you what is terrible will most likely be ok in my books!

Any way, back to my question, does any one know where to get one in the UK?
