Radeon x700 pro agp or Radeon 9800 pro?

is there enough of a difference to pay the extra money for the x700 agp or is there no big difference? any imput would be great.

I recommend getting the nvidia BFG 6800 Ultra

It costs $600 canadian but man is it great! It is the best video card for gaming! It is currently better then any ATI card of equal or less value.

If he wanted to spend $600 he proberly would not be looking at a x700. Let try to use some common sence with our recomendations.

what games are you wanting to play on that x700? if you wanted to up your budget a little bit more you could grab a 6600gt would would be a MUCH better card...the 6600GT is a better card that than 9800 Pro if that influences you at all...and its only about maybe 40 bucks more expensive than a 9800pro.

and just as a sidenote i would definetely not say the 6800 Ultra is the best card out there, ATI has card that beat it for about the same price, but this doesnt need to turn into an ATI vs Nvidia post(we already have one) and obviously its out of his price range anyway..

6600 gt manufactuer?

ok. so if i went with a 6600 gt card what is the best manufacturer to choose from because a lot of manufactuers make nvidia cards and i have no idea what ones are bad and or good. please help.
