Radeon8500LE Results....Come on guys, lets get er done!

I've started to tweak my R8500LE. I did the pencil trick. Here is my tweaking results so far:

SPECS:

Asus K8N
Athlon64 3000
R8500LE
512MB PC400 RAM
NewestDrivers
WinXP

I used 3dMark2001:

MEMORY/CPU

270/285.75 - 11124
274.50/285.75 - 11236
279/290.25 - 11319
281/290.25 - 11248

The last benchmark makes little sense. Only thing its telling me....is the clocks might need to be in sync. Whats your guy's experience on this?

When it is benchmarking at higher clocks, the screen distorts with green. I'm thinking I need to go buy a nice Pencil at Radio shack, not this plain jain #2 pencil.

ALot of people get thier clocks clearly over 300.

I wanna try to get it to 300/300.

This is a classic case of "benchmarks dont meas shit **** all" why? because when you're dealing with tiny tiny variances like that it's just a randoim optimizations etc (i.e., the harddisk head just happened to be right where itr needed to be to pick up tthe data and didnt have to seek for "x' milliseconds etc). FYI you wont get the same results on a benchmark each time you run it....

Just because they get it doesnt mean everyone gets it :)
