I'm looking to do a simple CPU-GPU1-GPU2 loop for my new build (first time watercooling). The CPU will be an overclocked Q6600 G0 (shooting for 3.2Ghz), and the GPUs will be stock-clocked 8800GTS 512s. Tubing will be 7/16" ID. The CPU will have a Swiftech Apogee GTZ strapped to it, and the GPUs will be cooled by D-Tek Fuzion GFX 2s (core-only blocks).
For radiators, I'm prepared to use a double-row triple-120. I'm wondering if I should throw a double-row double-120 in between the CPU and the GPUs. In fact, I'm fairly convinced that I'll have to go that route if I want good results. If not, let me know.
Pump-wise, then, I'm wondering if I should use a pair of Laing DD4s (317GPH), so that my loop would be RES-CPU-PUMP-2x120mm RAD-GPU1-GPU2-PUMP-3x120mm RAD-RES. If I don't need the two pumps, I'd much rather spring for a D5 Vario, which is a lot quieter and has the same flow specs as the DD4.
