I want to configure a Raid 0 setup with my parallel ata drives, but I don't want to do a complete reinstall of windows and all my other programs that are already on the c drive. Any way around this or is it gonna make me work for it? :

Ya but it (like RAID0) is prolly not worth your time:
1. Copy contents of Drive A (current OS drive) to Drive C (another drive)
2. Create RAID0 using Drive A and Drive B
3. Boot off Drive D (or Drive C) with RAID_AB attatched
4. Copy contents of Drive C to RAID_AB
5. Boot off RAID_AB
6. Remove the stuff from Drive C

I are you saying Raid0 itself is prolly not worth it in addition to the install, because if it's just a minimial gain then I'll forget it?

Well unless you plan on shucking mass data left and right nonstop, its not worth, IMO, the risk of negative redundancy and the cost of the drive.
