Raid help!!

hello
I have 2 maxtor hard drives. Both are 200 gb but one is a sata 150 and the other is ata133. So can I put this in raid0 or raid1. Do the drives have to be identicle in order for raid to work properly? If it would work please explain to me how I would go about doing it. Never set up raid b4. I am useing the sata drive right now.

Another thing. I know raid0 is faster cause its shares discs. But how much slower is raid1 compared to raid0. MBS?

Hardware:
Abit an8 mobo
Amd64 3500+
6600gt evga video card
1 gb of Geil ram Duel chan.
And those drives!!

I don't beleive that'll work... I don't know much about RAID(this is my first system) but I'm quite sure they must be identical on the same bus...

As for the difference. I beleive RAID0 is where you have 2 drives acting as one for performace. RAID1 is where one drives basically a backup/mirror of the other.
