hey everyone, i got two hard drives one samung sata 250 gig and one wd sata 120 gig and i want to make a Spanning Raid so i was just woundering if i need to put an OS on both of them or just one?

I think you need two identical drives, see RAID 101

you need 2 of the same drives to put them in raid. and you only need to put on 1 OS on one harddrive. see raid 101 for more information.
