is raid really worth it, {i mean the one where ur pc reads it as a single hd, but doesnt combind the memory, like if u have 2 80s it reads it as 1 80 and saves everything to both incase of a meltdown(dnt no wat #)} or will your hard drives last long enough where you dont have to worry about them blowing up
 
Depends what your data is worth to you, and what you can afford. For me I'd find it easier just to backup my data to CD/DVD and reload the OS from scratch in case of disaster.
