Raid?

I'm about to buy a 250gig internal hard drive. I already have a 40gig and an 80gig, but I'm told I will need to get a RAID setup before I install this 250gig hard drive. First of all, is this true? I'm willing to take out the 40gig if that will help.

Also, I'm not sure if I have a RAID card already. How would I know?
I have an ASUS, A7N8X Deluxe motherboard.

No. RAID is an option You should be able to connect the drive to the mobo directly but if not, since you're willing to drop the 40GB drive then you will eb able to
