when put win xp professional for installing, i press f6 for raid drivers, when windows read the diskette it shows only 4 options, but when i insert win 64 bit , it shows a lot about 10 , 12
i choose the only one which says the raid for pc in the "4 option" IN WIN 32 ,when the windows setup begin , in the partion part, it shows no hard disk drive. which means the drivers didn't work , i don't know what to do !
 
are you using a raid card or on board raid. if you're using onboard raid you may need to check in your bios to make sure that you have it enabled
 
the problem is i can install windows 64bit , which i'm using now , but i can't install win 32 bit , when at the first step of windows 32 setup i put the rAID diskette , it only shows 4 option , 2 of them are for the mobile, 1 for the ACHI , the other left for raid, when i choose it, it copying its files , but when i want to choose the driive in which widows be installed it says no hard disk found , which means(i guess) that the windows didn't detect my hard drives and the RAID driver didn't work, but all the same with win 64 bit , no problem occures, it shows me about 12 option that one is exactly my driver, and then so on and the windows sets up , why i can't install win 32?
(the cpu is QUAd Q6600, and i've got 4 GB ram)
 
i want to intall win 32 bit , but this raid thing wont let me to install , on the other hand this win 64 bit is not suitable with so many devices , and its drivers are no where , what should i do ?
