Ram and Hard drive Cooling

Every time I turn on my computer I put in my cooled ram and hard drive. This actually makes my boot time up to 5 seconds faster on my imac. I put them in a mini usb freezer every time.
 
??? Wait what? Call me stupid but what is a USB Freezer? IF it is something that you are supposed to put food or drinks in, I dont think that it is a good Idea to cool and heat up your hardware like that, Yes granted it may help your system start up better but it puts so much stress on the parts, every time you take out your hardware and put it back in you are stressing the connections, wearing them out. It sounds like a great Idea but IMO not computer friendly, not to mention moisture + computer parts = failure. Am I wrong?
