ram and motherboard

im looking at a mobo that supports DDR2 1066 4x240 pin up to 8gb. what i wanted to do was get 2x 2gb sticks and when i narrowed it down to that on newegg, this is all i get:

my question is, without getting a different mobo, do i have any other alternatives?

there are ALOT of ddr2 boards that takes 8gb.

You MB support DDR2 1066 doesn't mean you need to get DDR2 1066. I personally will step down to get the cheaper DDR2 800
