ram compatible with Dell Dimension C521

I have a disabled friend on a small pension who I am trying to help with a ram upgrade as cheaply as possible.I don`t know a lot about this and was wondering what would work, she has 4 ram slots but only 2x256mbs.
the info I have is

Mainboard : Dell Inc 0UT226
Chipset : nVidia nForce 410
Processor : AMD Sempron 3400+ @ 1800MHz
Physical Memory : 512MB (2 x 256 DDR2-SDRAM )
RAM Technology DDR2 SDRAM
Number of Memory Slots 4 x DIMMs
Supported RAM Speeds 800 Mhz • 533 MHz • 667 MHz

I have 2x2gb pc2-6400 ddr2 266mx64 sitting around and I am wondering if I could use these or possibly just one of them with what she has now.
any insight would be appreciated. thanks
 
That model has a max ram limit of 4gb, 4 x 1gb sticks so you won't be able to use your ram.
 
You should actually use memory sticks in pairs so you can use dual channel. I wojuld recommend getting 2 x 512mb sticks of the samd speed and timings thats already in there.
