Ram For Asus A8V-VM

Hi, i would like to ask what ram will fit in the motherboard (A8V-VM) and work? what type and what speeds etc. I am looking for 2gb (2x1gb) modules. Thanks :good:

DDR PC-3200/400 will be the fastest you can use.

Edit: Note it is DDR, not DDR2 or DDR3.

Your MB is not Intel so it should work.

It doesnt list the K8M890 chipset. But it does list the K8T890, the only difference between them is onboard video with the K8M890.

There is 2 versions of his MB.
He needs to identify which one he has.
One holds 2 ram, the other holds 4.

There is only one A8V-VM. But there is a A8V-VM SE that has two slots. But both boards have the same chipset.
