ram frequency vs cpu/ram ratio

so im running ddr3-1333 ram. i have my cpu overclocked and i set the ram to run at 1000mhz to keep the 1/2 ratio. i know alot of people saying that it is best to keep the ratio as close to 1/1 as possible, but with amd i think 1/2 is the best it will get. my qeustion is, which would give me better performance? keeping the ratio at 1/2 and my ram at 1000, or put my ram at 1333 or higher, and have a 3/8 ratio or worse? thanks for the advice

also, ive noticed when i run dxdiag, it says i have dx11, but i have a gtx260. how does that work
 
The higher bus on both is the best. Since the FSB was done away with (so to speak) the ratio is less important. You just have DirectX 11 installed.
