Ram Help...

I am thinking about updating my ram.

I can't decide which Ram to get. Besides the slight bump of speed is it worth the extra $27 to get the faster ram?

I do game but its mostly heavily modded Minecraft and with that video card I get 250-300 fps at decent settings so its really just to upgrade because of how old my ram is. It is combined from 2 pcs that I bought in the last 5-6 years.
 
Those were the 3 sets I was looking at. I'm not going to mix them, just going from 12 gig to 16 and dumping my old ram... maybe make a Minecraft server or something with an old pc. I wasn't sure if it was worth it to go to 2666 instead of the cheaper 2400. And is the name brand REALLY with the extra cash?
 
I'd just go with the Ripjaws. The 2133 CL9 kit in my rig is Ripjaws X as well and has been no complaints for the last 5 years or so.

2666 doesn't offer you $27 worth of extra performance
