RAM issue

Asus M2A-VM 2gb ram only works on B2 other slots it just beeps when I turn it on, even tried to install another 2gb starts up no issue but when I check system it only shows 2gb.

Installing 1 2gb card should only work on A1

HELP!! Please..

Single stick should work on every slot. Compatibility problem (try another RAM stick), motherboard broken (try another motherboard), CPU memory controller broken (try another CPU). Not much you can do on software side.

Something you can try is reset CMOS and lower memory settings.

Ram slot in motherboard is probably shot. Need new motherboard.

What is the make and model of the MOBO and what is the RAM? Speed, etc?
