(RAM) New RAM acting weird

Hello CF,

I have built a computer for my friend and at the moment I am facing a problem. I know its a RAM issue but Ill explain my Scenario.

I built the new Rig, everything installed fine. Now I kinda noticed the computer was staggering a bit so I thought I would switch the RAM to different slots and it resets after 5 seconds after start up and loops. I placed the RAM back tot heir previous slots and the loops still happened.

I removed one RAM stick and the computer starts up normally. But when I place the second RAM stick bad to the other slot, the loops begin to happen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!
 
What motherboard and memory? Have you checked in the bios or a program like PC Wizard to see if its running at its default speed and timing?
