Hey guys, I'm putting another gig of ram in my cousins computer. His motherboard is labeled as FSB1066 Dual Core CPU Dual Channel DDR400/DDR2 667. He curently has 2 512 sticks off ddr400 ram. I went to install another 1 gig of ddr2 667 and its not showing up? What am I doing wrong? Is there something in the bios I have to set up? Or is the motherboard not able to support more then 1 gig of ram? Or does this motherboard not support the ddr2 667?

Please help
thanks alot

You can't use two types of RAM simultaneously. If your mobo takes both DDR and DDR2 RAM, you can only use either. I recommend you get two 1-gig sticks of DDR2, that stuff is so cheap it's no big loss anyways. Oh and you need to take out all the DDR RAM before using DDR2.
