ram not working...

hey im takeing all the parts out of my dell gx1 becouse its useless and i dont realy want it so i decieded to put it in my parents computer (only 128 mb) .i dont know the actual name but its a voodoo with windows me . but the problem is it goes into the boot screen and gives me 4 options .

1.normal
2.login bootsomthin
3.safe mode
4.manualy configure

dosent matter what one i choose it all goes to a screen that says a windows protection error has accored windows needs to be restart.

if anyone can help it whuld be very much apreciated thx.

2 years ago ddr was fast
check to see if its the same speed and see if its ECC or not

its not ddr its sdramm and its not 2 years old its like 6 years old and the newer is 4 years old/whats eccd meen?
