RAM or Mobo?

I have a mobo with 1gb (2 * 512) of ram 533 Mhz. I am planning to get more ram, but have encountered a junction. I may want an SLI system later on. Should I get 2 more sticks of 533 MHZ ram? Or should I get an SLI capable mobo and 2 sticks of a higher frequency to match the mobo's ram? I am on a limited budget and already have spent 110 of 200 or 250 USD. Which option would you recommend, and if you recommend the SLI mobo what mobo and what RAM should I get?

(confusing post i know)

unless I'm reading this wrong, one option was to get sli AND faster ram? That would be the way to go without question, assuming the money is there and you want to spend it

I am willing to spend the money, and after looking at a few products have more or less decided. My first choice for the mobo is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131536, and my second is
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131578.
Is it worth the extra 50$ and the wait to get a firewire port and better stability and speed, or should I just get the normal one.
For RAM I will get the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820236115. Is this a good choice, and is it compatible
with the mobo?

Id say go for the cheaper mobo just based on stats, but you might wanna wait for a second opinion, and the ram ought to be fine, the only thing that would worry me a bit is it doesn't post the ram's timings, at that speed, latencies of 4 are good, 5 are average, and above that is not so good
